What makes us premier breeders?

Not only do we focus on breeding the healthiest and best temperaments to get a well-rounded puppy but we also study genetics intensely so we can produce those beautiful coats, colors and markings we all love. Taking it even a step further we spend countless hours with our puppies training them to be ready for their new homes. Listed below are some of the things we do to ensure our puppies get the absolute best start at life!

Our Premier Breeding Program Includes:

Early Neurological Stimulation

ENS is a series of exercises we do with our puppies from day 3-16 of age. These exercises are said to improve cardio vascular performance (heart rate), create stronger heart beats, create stronger adrenal glands, increase their tolerance to stress and provide them a greater resistance to disease.

Puppy Socialization Starts with the Breeder: Early Neurological Stimulation – American Kennel Club (akc.org)

Exposure Activities

We expose our puppies to various environments, sights, sounds and smells. This ensures that they will become adaptable and confident in any situation.

Socialization

Our puppies spend a great deal of time being handled and played with by both children and adults. They are also socialized with adult dogs. This fosters their ability to befriend and play nicely with everyone. Our children are trained on how to interact with the puppies and how to teach the puppies to play nicely. Many of our puppies go to families with young children.

Interactive Playtime

We encourage mental and physical stimulation through interactive play sessions, providing toys and puzzles that keep their minds sharp and their bodies active.

Crate Training

We provide crates with cozy bedding where our puppies can create their own den. Our puppies begin sleeping in their crates around 5 weeks old. Your puppy will come home already feeling comfortable in their crate.

Potty Training

Beginning at 3 weeks old we teach our puppies to go potty in a designated area. Around 5 weeks old we begin taking them outside after feedings to introduce them to grass and begin teaching them to potty outside (weather dependent).  We further instill good potty habits by introducing a doggy door & bells, making housebreaking much easier for our families. Remember however that no puppy is fully potty trained at 8 weeks old. We just do our best to get them started on the right track.

Grooming

Our puppies will be exposed to baths, blow drying and brushing. They will also have several nail trimmings before going home. We expose them to these grooming procedures at a very young age so they are confident and calm during grooming , not fearful.
